What are bungee cords used for?

Bungee cords are an incredibly versatile tool used in many different scenarios.  Bungee cords have many uses, whether it be for camping, travelling. They are most commonly used for securing items to other items, such as tying down luggage to a roof rack. They are also used for camping, as a means of fastening tents and general equipment to trees or other elements of the environment. 

Bungee cords are incredibly strong, yet elastic, and therefore make them ideal for many different jobs. As they can stretch, they can be utilized to tie down items even when dealing with fluctuating conditions.
